HBF INSPIRATION HOUSE

The Inspiration House is a fundraising initiative in which a Denver home builder and its trade base collaborate to raise funds through the sale of a newly constructed home. The program begins with a partnering home builder who selects the home project and then works with its trade base to discount and/or donate services and materials to significantly reduce the cost of the home build. Proceeds from the sale of the completed home are then donated to HBF.

The initiative was started to help raise regular, consistent, and critical funds needed for HBF. Thanks to the help of Inspiration House funds, we can continue to fulfill our mission to build independence and elevate lives. Since the first Inspiration House, HBF has seen a significant rise in demand. Each year more people with long-term physical disabilities are requesting services. We have experienced an increase in the number of projects from 39 home modifications annually to more than 240 work items for 120 clients valued at $1.2M in 2022.
