Launched in 2021, this clay shooting event features a lively pancake breakfast, thrilling clay shooting, and exciting raffle prizes. HBF client and past Board member Michael Solano will be speaking during lunch. Michael is a U.S. Army veteran and former police officer whose life changed after a 2013 ATV accident left him paralyzed. Through multiple HBF projects over the years, Michael has experienced firsthand how thoughtful home modifications can turn obstacles into open doors, creating greater access, safety, and independence at home. His journey as both a client and Board member gives him a powerful perspective on HBF’s mission to build independence, provide opportunities, and elevate lives for individuals and families with disabilities in our community. We are honored to welcome Michael and grateful for the opportunity to hear his story, his insight, and his continued commitment to helping others experience the independence everyone deserves.
