Featured Guest

Victor “Vic” C. is a lifelong artist and community builder, known for his big heart, creative spirit, and deep commitment to helping others. Before a 2018 motorcycle accident left him with a C4 spinal cord injury, Vic was the go-to person in his community—organizing fundraisers, offering support, and using his talents to uplift others. That spirit hasn’t changed. During his rehabilitation at Craig Hospital, Vic found his way back to art through stained glass, a craft that allows him to express himself and share something beautiful with the people he loves. He’s continued to find ways to connect and lead, even starting a virtual support group during the COVID-19 pandemic to create space for encouragement and friendship among others living with spinal cord injuries.

We’re honored to welcome Vic as our featured guest at Clays to Elevate Lives 2025, where he’ll share his story during lunch. Thanks to the support of HBA’s Emerging Leaders Council, Vic’s home now features an accessible ramp and deck, turning it into a space where he can continue to host, gather, and build community. His journey is a reminder of why we do this work and what’s possible when we come together to build independence and opportunity for others.
