Faces of HBF, Meet Alice

We are thrilled to introduce you to our newest staff member, Alice! Alice’s first official day on the job was January 7th! As the HBF’s Administrative Manager, Alice will be focusing on coordinating volunteers and client services while assisting Beth, Brian and Lauren!

18 years ago, this month Alice left her job as an engineer to be a stay at home mom for a few years.  During that time, she found a love of using her technical skills to serve nonprofits and never went back. Alice has spent the last 10 years working for various Denver-based nonprofits. Alice graduated from Mississippi State, while there she once installed thermal blankets in a space shuttle cargo bay (she was the only person at NASA that could fit between the struts while the regular installer was out on maternity leave)!

When Alice is not working at HBF, she can be found cheering on the Mississippi State Bulldogs, especially Lady Dawgs basketball – she was at the final four game where they beat UConn at the buzzer in OT!  On the weekends Alice and her husband are usually found building sets for VBS, after prom, or volunteering to do repairs at their church, sometimes even recruiting their kids to help!

Please join us in welcoming Alice to the HBF staff and community!
