Featured Speaker – AmiLynne’s Story

This year, HBF client AmiLynne will join us at Clubs for a Cause to share her inspiring journey. Diagnosed with metastatic brain cancer in 2017 and later experiencing a stroke in 2022, she lost much of her mobility, making everyday independence a challenge. After receiving crucial home modifications last summer and a new front ramp from Sheffield Homes during this year’s Blitz Build event, AmiLynne can now move through her home and community safely and with confidence. “These are more than updates,” AmiLynne says. “They were lifelines. Every adjustment Home Builders Foundation made gave me back a piece of myself.”

All funds raised at Clubs for a Cause will help HBF meet our mission to build independence. We provide opportunities and elevate lives for families and individuals living with disabilities in our community.
