As Home Builders Foundation grows and works toward completing 1,300 life-changing projects in three years, we’re reflecting on the people who have made this progress possible. Larry Malone of Berkeley Homes stands out. With steady vision, energy, and compassion, Larry has shaped dozens of projects and inspired countless others. In this moment of growth and change, we’re proud to recognize the impact he continues to make.

A Steady Force for Access and Independence

Larry has led more than 40 accessible home modification projects with Home Builders Foundation, serving as a volunteer project captain for many of them. His work has helped transform houses across metro Denver into safe, accessible homes—places where people can live with greater comfort, confidence, and dignity.

From complex remodels to urgent accessibility updates like ramps and grab bars, Larry brought care and craftsmanship to each project. Through his leadership, clients who once faced significant barriers have regained mobility and peace of mind. His steady presence has expanded what’s possible for our organization and the people we serve.
