HBF Representatives Featured on Mile High Living

HBF Program Director, Brian Johnson and Project Captain, Brady Nelson from Rio Grande were featured on Mile High Living this week. Brian and Brady did a fantastic job explaining the mission and forward-thinking momentum of Home Builders Foundation. Brian and Brady raised awareness of Train the Trainer, HBF’s two-part classroom and field education series. Completing both sessions helps prepare individuals to lead a ramp build, using HBF’s proven systems. Train the Trainer is a dynamic training, focused on safety,  and the coordination of skilled and unskilled volunteers.

They also had the chance to talk about this year’s upcoming Blitz Build. Each year Blitz Build, sponsored by Fiberon, brings together crews who spend the weekend completing ramp and deck projects for individuals needing access to their home and outdoor spaces. This year Blitz Build is scheduled June 9-11.
