One year ago, Steve joined the team at HBF. As Lead Construction Technician he provides hands-on craftsmanship to HBF clients. Steve’s vast experience in the construction industry allows HBF to assign smaller-scale projects in-house. Because of Steve’s skills, HBF can shift priorities quickly on the occasions when an urgent need arises.
Steve has a unique perspective and can identify with HBF clients. For the past several years, he has relied on a prosthetic leg. He can understand some of the difficulties our clients face. His compassion and open nature make Steve the perfect representative for HBF. Often, Steve leaves the jobsite with new friends! He connects with our clients on an amazing level, and he is an inspiration to our staff, sponsors, volunteers, and clients.
When he is not working at HBF, or on one of his many personal projects, Steve enjoys spending time with his son and daughter. He expresses his gratitude that they both live in Colorado! One of Steve’s favorite past-times is hunting. He loves to talk about the “hunting camps” he and his son set up with friends. Based on the picture, it would be easy to see Steve hosting a show on the Discovery channel. We know how fortunate we are to have him.
