They believe everyone can make a difference, from fundraising events to influencing policy to giving financially, and that is why NMSS continues to support HBF as an Official Community Partner.
The vision at National Multiple Sclerosis Society is bold: A World Free of MS. In pursuing that vision, the Society’s mission is: People affected by MS can live their best lives as we stop MS in its tracks, restore what has been lost and end MS forever. To attain these goals, NMSS mobilizes people and resources, so everyone affected by multiple sclerosis can live their best lives.
People affected by MS can count on the National MS Society to be a supportive partner throughout their journey with MS. The MS Society provides information, resources and support that seeks to meet the needs of people affected by MS as a whole and individually. The NMSS goal is to provide a dynamic set of services that are available nationwide and address the most important challenges of MS. MS Navigators work closely with HBF connecting people with MS in need of home modifications. The organizations have collaborated on many projects over the years which have made such a difference for individuals with MS. Each of these projects has been memorable and rewarding, recognizing the profound difference it has made in each person’s life.
“People living with MS are faced with complex and challenging situations that threaten their ability to live independently,” said Cyndi Zagieboylo, the Society’s President and CEO. “By partnering with qualified individuals and agencies… within local communities, we can provide people living with MS access to experts on services and resources to meet their individual needs where they live. Our mission at the Society is to help people with MS live their best lives, helping them live independently goes a long way to achieving that goal. Home Builders Foundation is an amazing resource with which to connect our constituents. The services they provide are often life-changing and provide people with disabilities the opportunity to live independently and enjoy a high quality of life in their own home.”
