HBF hosted the annual Clubs for a Cause on September 19th. The event, presented by Boise Cascade, was held at the stunning Rolling Hills Golf Club. Players were treated to a filling box lunch and played a scramble format in the awe-inspired backdrop of Colorado’s Table Mesa. The tournament featured 36 teams of highly competitive golfers. The competition was amplified with the “Power Ticket” contest holes including the speed hole and the men’s and women’s longest drive.
PGA Long Drive player Brad Skupaka and Board Member (and former client) Chris Layne hosted Hole #1. Many players tee’d off against Brad, and lost! But the HBF won big at this hole as our supporters were very generous. The day concluded with appetizers provided by Specialty Appliance in the parking lot, as well as dinner and the awards ceremony in the Clubhouse.
After fierce competition, the KGA Studio Architects/Ascent Builders team took home the “Clubs Cup”. All funds raised at Clubs for a Cause will help HBF meet our mission to build independence. We provide opportunities and elevate lives for families and individuals living with disabilities in our community.
