Today Marks Alice’s Three Year Anniversary with HBF

Today marks the day a very special person joined HBF’s Crew. Three years ago, Alice Wurst joined the team, and the organization has only gotten stronger since!

Alice brings a unique set of skills to HBF! She has streamlined data, organized applications and manages the day-to-day aspects of the HBF. She basically keeps the rest of the team in line and is the force behind all administrative magic. If we can count it, find it, qualify it or research it, we can thank Alice!

And in case you didn’t know, it is super cool that in the past, Alice was a Rocket Scientist! I mean really, it’s not every day you get to talk to a Rocket Scientist – we are so lucky we get to. If she says we can do it, we can! If she says it’s possible (whatever “it” is), buckle up, cause it’s going to happen.

Alice, and her husband Joe have finally gotten into a groove as empty nesters. Her daughter is a sophomore at the University of Denver and her son is at Montana State University. Empty nesting freed up their time, but it hasn’t meant they have slowed down. They have used that time to take up hiking, snowshoeing, and occasionally volunteering on small HBF projects. And if COVID ever ends they plan to add more traveling to the mix.
