HBF is proud to announce the addition of Scott Czarnek to our 2023 Board of Directors. Two years ago, Scott was introduced to HBF through his company Shea Homes’ relationship with VanDyk Construction. As it so often happens, once you volunteer with HBF you become hooked!
Scott has gradually increased his support for HBF and is currently serving as a Project Captain for a bathroom modification in Englewood. Scott has continued to be involved with HBF because he believes, “HBF helps people with disabilities in a way that not many organizations can.” As a Colorado native, Scott embodies the spirit of helping one’s neighbor.
Scott graduated from the University of Denver in 2004. He started working for Shea Homes the same year and has been with them ever since. He has spent the past 18 years in the homebuilding industry. Scott started as an assistant superintendent and is currently an area construction manager. Scott takes pride in his work with Shea Homes and feels fortunate to work for a company that supports his passion to do the right thing.
If Scott were a super-hero, his power would be to fly. In fact, growing up he wanted to be a pilot. These days his goal is a little more grounded, to become the Vice President of Operations. He enjoys time with family, vacationing at Disney World with his wife Kacey and two children Brooke (10) and Cole (7). As you might guess, Scott’s favorite sports teams are the Broncos, Rockies, Avalanche and DU Pioneers.
