In the summer of 2013, 60 year old Stewart was cycling in Red Rocks Park when a car pulled out in front of him. Stewart hit the front of the car, resulting in a spinal cord injury. When he returned home from the hospital, the carpeting in his home was a barrier. Thanks to Project Captain Saddleback Design, Stewart now can navigate his home easily on hard flooring.
