The mission of HBF is building independence, providing opportunities and elevating lives for individuals and families with disabilities in our community. This endeavor requires an extensive network of friends, volunteers, and financial contributions. One way the HBF can continue to provide these services is with the help of our Annual Supporters such as Silver Level Supporter, FirstBank.

FirstBank has been involved with the HBF for years, in part because the HBF’s mission aligns so well with their “Banking For Good” philosophy, and in part because the HBF staff and board are great people to be around. The work being done at the HBF is so important not only to the recipient, but to their friends, families, and communities as a whole. Every year for Blitz Build, FirstBank has far more “unskilled” bankers that want to build ramps than we have spaces available on crews, which is a testament to the fact that people want to be a part of the great work the HBF does. Each year the Home Builders Foundation gathers together builders, contractors, remodelers, trades and volunteers to execute the Blitz Build and build ramps for individuals needing access to their homes. The Blitz Build mobilizes more than 200 volunteers to complete ramps for individuals across metro Denver in this incredible 3-day event.
