The 2017 Annual Luncheon was a huge success! At last week’s luncheon, we recognized all companies that participated in the annual commitment program, highlighted our amazing project captains, and also highlighted the impact of our work with two recipients – Chris and David. Here is what they had to say:
“How am I going to get home, and in my house? How is everything going to work when I get there? There’s a thousand things going on in my mind at that time, and at that point I had heard from the Home Builders Foundation—but I had no idea to what extent the Home Builders Foundation would be working on my home. It was amazing the quality of work, they knew exactly what I needed.” Chris L. 2017 HBF Recipient
“My house was fairly accessible, but it only had one way for me to get in and out. For safety purposes there needs to be two exit points, so now there is a new door and ramp in the back that the Home Builders Foundation created for me and it’s just fabulous.” David S. 2017 HBF Recipient
Thanks to all of our sponsors and to all the individuals who attended last week, this event raised over $70,000, which will allow the HBF to complete future projects for recipients like Chris and David!
