Monthly Giving Match

HBF is celebrating our 30^th year serving the greater Denver community. In those 30 years, HBF has completed home modifications including ramps, room alterations, bathrooms, and much more for 2,000+ individuals and their families and the number of requests continues to grow. HBF provided 120 clients with 242 work items in 2022, with an estimated community impact value of more than $1.2 million.

Demand for HBF’s services has increased by 19% in recent years and HBF continues to see an increase in requests for services.  On average, HBF receives up to 15 requests per month. However, in the early months of 2023, HBF received 27 requests for services, and this number has remained consistent throughout the rest of the year. Also, HBF experienced There has also been an increase in requests for larger scale work items, such as bathroom remodels, floor remodels, and additions for homes, as opposed to smaller scale modifications such as grab bars, step through tub conversions, ramps, and railings.

A monthly gift to the HBF supports a path of opportunity for those in our community living with a disability or limited mobility to fully access life within and outside their home. Monthly donations provide HBF with financial stability and help us provide more accurate project timelines for our clients, especially as we continue to experience record-breaking application rates from our future clients.
