Welcome to HBF’s Clays to Elevate Lives, Presented by Rio Grande Co.
Thursday, May 9, 2024 – Schedule for the day:
- Flipping Flapjacks starts serving breakfast at 7:30am
- Clubhouse opens at 7:45am for gun rental pick up
- Volunteer trapper training at 8:15am
- Kiowa‘s safety brief at 8:45am in the parking lot
- Shooting starts at 9am
- Lunch served at noon in pavilion by Specialty Appliance
Ammunition will be provided! And to add to the fun, we will host a Raffle the day of the event. Single raffle tickets cost $30 per ticket, two raffle tickets cost $50 and a 4-pack Raffle Tickets coast $100.

Meet Frank C. Past HBF Client
When Frank C. was diagnosed with Inclusion Body Myositis in early 2021, he took immediate action to increase his safety and independence by purchasing an accessible home. An accessible home also alleviated the caregiving burden on his wife and five children. However, he soon realized their new home needed additional modifications to accommodate his power wheelchair.
So, Frank and his family reached out to the HBF crew for help installing a ramp, pull bars, and automatic door openers to make his home truly accessible. Frank’s praise is why we do this work. He said, “The work they do makes a huge difference to someone in a wheelchair who has limited use of his hands like me.” With his renewed independence, Frank recently became an assistant coach for a girls’ high school basketball team in Castle Rock.
